When does a referral make sense?
Consider referring a patient if they're dealing with chronic inflammation, systemic conditions with unclear drivers, cardiovascular risk, or gut dysfunction that isn't fully resolving. The oral microbiome is often an overlooked variable and the assessment is non-invasive, simple, and gives you a more complete picture.
What happens after you submit?
