Meet the founders

Two women who got tired of asking the same hard question.

Angelina Geon and Jazmin Platero co-founded The Mouth Lab in 2024 after years inside an integrative dental practice convinced them the standard answers weren't enough. This is the team translating oral microbiome science into clinical tools that practitioners can actually use.

Why this work

Oral-systemic health isn't a side conversation. It's the conversation.

Together, Angelina and Jazmin built The Mouth Lab to close the gap between what oral microbiome research has already proven and what most patients still aren't being offered. The mouth is the beginning. The rest follows.
